Meet Our Leaders

Buddy graduated the United States Military Academy at West Point as a two-sport Division I athlete (baseball and soccer). Commissioned as a Field Artillery Officer, he fought in the Iraq War from 2003-2004 as a platoon leader and executive officer, earning the bronze star for service and actions in combat with the 4th Infantry Division. Upon return, he worked for Ernst and Young performing financial and operational audits of both Fortune 500 and middle-market companies. Buddy then worked for an institutional credit manager where we began as a credit analyst, then head trader and finally as a portfolio manager of nearly $2 billion in high yield securities across multiple strategies. He performed financial and operational underwriting on more than 400 companies in nearly every investible industry. Buddy then managed a $250 million direct-investment debt strategy backed by a public insurance company to provide flexible debt capital solutions to middle market companies with less than $150 million in revenue. In 2016, Buddy launched the government services division of Mavec Advisors as an SDVOB to provide staffing of both professional services and union labor packages in concert with self-performing millwork and refrigeration walk-in box installation.

In 2025, building on the evolution and growth over the years, and as part of his continued commitment to excellence and service to clients, Buddy has transitioned the company into the new Mavec Group. This change reflects our expanded capabilities and our ongoing dedication to delivering innovative solutions and exceptional service.
