Founded in 2011 as a diversified consulting firm, Mavec launched its government services division in 2016 as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (SDVOB) and federally certified SDVOSB in 2017.

Mavec began its public contract journey performing compliance and staffing augmentation of agency project managers and other professional services roles for the NYS Governor’s Office of Storm Recovery (GOSR). Since then, Mavec has staffed for over 12 agencies supporting complex commercial government contracts throughout New York State and the metropolitan area.

Mavec expanded its staffing capability by adding union trade labor solutions to infrastructure projects, which grew into self-performing millwork installation for major international banks and travel plazas across New York State, and, in addition, self-performance of refrigeration walk-in box installation services.
